About Me

I’ve always loved stories—books, comics, shows, and especially movies. I’ve been drawn to all kinds of media that tell compelling stories. In my twenties, I started writing my own. For years, I never published anything. I wrote purely for the joy of it. But I often wondered: Are my stories good enough? Will others enjoy them?

I guess there’s only one way to find out.

In 2024, I published my first two books. It was an interesting experience learning how to self-publish through Amazon’s KDP system. But once the books were out, I quickly moved on. I did no promotion, didn’t try to build a readership, and never invested in marketing.

The result? I sold only a handful of copies each month.

Because of that, I continued to see myself as a hobbyist—someone who dreams of “one day” becoming more.

In 2025, I decided that “one day” would never come unless I worked for it. The website you’re reading now is part of that decision. I want to become a real author. And to do that, I need to invest in the process, figure things out, and—most of all—take myself the time.

2026 was the year where my efforts alone didn’t lead to more readers. Thus, I decided to try it from a different angle by creating “The Grok Diary”.

The idea is simple: I just let Grok coach me to become a successful Indie-Author within 5 years. Every day I publicly ask the AI model a question about writing, publishing, marketing, and all other things involved. Whatever Grok answers, I’ll do.

You can read more about the project here:

You can find all Diary entries on my archives page or my X profile.

My goal is to one day make a living as a storyteller. I don’t know if I’ll ever get there. Until I do, I call myself an author in progress.

Goals for 2026

I also use this website to motivate me to achieve my goals. Here are the main things I focus on this year:

  1. Publish 42 short stories to complete my STORY52 project
  2. Release the second part of my 17 series
  3. Publish as many additional novels as I can
  4. Using Grok daily to become a better author
