Since 2025 I’ve been playing around with AI models to create my own comics. It’s all just a test project for now. The quality isn’t where I want it to be. But I publish them here and on my X account while also reporting on the process for other people to learn from.
The Last Superhero Series
For the entire project, though, I’ve created the same story world in which superheros are vigilantes declared persona non grata. They went into hiding while the system is after them. It’s called The Last Superhero (TLS).
TLS Part 1
An old man walks the streets and sees nothing but decline and despair. But this old man is more than just a geezer complaining about where the gold old days have gone.
This comic was created in 2025 with Midjourney Version 6.
TLS Part 2
A man is hired for a dangerous delivery job in the middle of the night. And the one who hired him hasn’t planned to pay him for his service. But he doesn’t know that his delivery guy has a secret himself.
The second issue was also done in 2025 using Midjourney Version 6.
TLS Part 3
This hero is held captive because of his healing abilities. But as he finally escapes his cell, he begins to realize that his prison might not be what he thought it was.
Part 3 was done in 2026 with ChatGPT’s Version 5 image model.
TLS Part 4
This hero doesn’t know anything about the powers that are hidden inside. Once inside the spotlight, these powers lead to an unexpected outcome.
