Tips For Designing Good YouTube Thumbnails (Grok Diary – Day 174)

There is nothing that I hate more on YouTube than these stupid face thumbnails where someone gives you an exaggerated expression. It simply screams low-IQ content. I will never make such thumbnails.

But high contrast, focal point, consistency, bold text, and optimizing for mobile views is surely good advice to follow.

Should You Produce Book Trailers for YouTube? (Grok Diary – Day 172)

I’ve been thinking about using AI tools to make these trailers somewhat animated. As AI improves, they will look more and more like real movie trailers. And – who knows – maybe at some point AI will allow me to turn my books into full movies.

But I’ll do it step by step, as always. First thing to put on my to-do-list: Create basic book trailers for my YouTube channel.
